Yep. I can't start a thread in 'aircraft under construction'. I can write it and hit the button to create it but then get a thread not found message.

      Cheers

I can get in to attempt to create the new thread.

But when I hit 'create thread', after a little cogitation, I get this.

And obviously no thread has been created.

            Cheers

The curious, Steve...if you take a look on the main forum page, you will see your post as "created". Then you click over and appears the same page that you have shown (not found/error)

much appreciated,John,I have never had a problem,I just use my phone camera, and upload them, and its always worked,

I think I've fixed the starting new thread problem, I'm still looking at the image resize issue, it used to resize images down to a smaller size without any problems.

I've turned off automatic updates on the server, today has been a pain

It's ok Monica, after messing about all day I finally posted on the Xenforo forum asking why it wouldn't resize images, within a couple of minutes I got the answer, images above 20 mega pixels won't be resized, so if you have a camera that has more pixels than that then you will need to lower the resolution.

I dunno I have no problems, I just get a new hamster and wheel every three months, I tried a guinea pig (thought I might get more speed but it just broke the wheel) you just can't beat the traditional system, oh but a new piece of string every now and then makes a big difference

I generally don't update the string on the forum, this was an update the server decided to do on it's own, computers can be a pain when they try and think for themselves.
