Card model build and completed section

    Admin.

As there is a stirring of interest in card model making, would you consider setting up a card models build, and completed section?

All types in one collective group.

    Thanks.

Personally I would prefer that we keep to the sections as is, as I feel the subject is more the matter than the building materials.

but I could be persuaded...I will have a nose around and see what we have...

As it is such a totally different modelling material and technique than plastic, I just thought it would be nice to have card modelling in a slot on it's own.

      Not to worry.

I think this might fall under the other models section?
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

There is a section set up for the discussion of card models, where to get them and the such. In the introduction under the title is says quite clearly that builds are to go into the existing build sections.

Sorry to be a bit of a stubborn ol' fart but as I wrote before a boat is a boat, a tank is a tank an aircraft an aircraft regardless what it is made from. Look at it logically, if we set it up for card models, the next will be someone wanting the same for wooden models, then the metal ones, then the scratch built... So on and so forth.

In the same vein, as you wrote Ron, when the construction techniques are so different, it must be the ideal chance to go into more depth with the build log.

I also fear that a special section will be only to easy to skip over, sneaking them in with all the others, people that would have skipped the section happen across them and actually look at them.

The other models section... I have just had a look in that and would guess that 90% of the posts in there could actually be moved to an appropriate section. I think I looked at it last I had a tidy up but never got around to it.
