    Thread updates.

I dont seem to get updates on the forums that I am following

On each of the ones that I am interested in I have scrolled to the bottom and ticked the box saying follow.

Only occasionally do I get updates but I notice on the main site page that people have commented on a thread. I cant understand why I dont receive updates. Have I done all that is required to receive these or maybe Ive missed something obvious. Any thoughts or help on this please.

    Cheers Alan

I wish I had never changed to this software, I'm going to look to see if it's possible to go back to vbulletin, it has it's good points but no where near as good as VB

Is it a software issue then John? Funnily I didnt seem to get this happen before the site changed earlier this year. I have also checked my account settings too.

I feel im missing out on the topic updates, almost like the naughty boy in the corner of the forum.

Please help I really do enjoy our model community here.Thank you John

It's not the software as such, it more how it gets new posts that's the issue, I don't know if it possible to change to vbulletin but I will look in to it.

I posted a picture yesterday of a kit I've almost done and not had one reply, I thought it was because people can't stop laughing at it but it might be because it's not been seen.

When I fist tried to post this enquiry it just simply wouldnt send. I must of tried a dozen or more times before it finally sent. Not sure if this may also throw some more light on the issue to help you.

John im certainly not laughing at your model honest

          Cheers John

2459 new posts to read! I suspect that is because of the software change but I also had a sneaking suspicion that stuff I was posting wasn't getting the exposure that it used to.

My latest post is awaiting moderation - I thought I was in the naughty corner for a moment. Mind you, this post will also need moderating, so no one will see this for a while either.

Oh goody, goody gumdrops! I've been awarded lots of trophies and hundreds of likes! At least, I have according to the 9 alerts I found when I logged on.

                    That can't be right.
