    Still not getting updated

Since the site update im still not receiving all the forum posts that I am watching. If I specifically watch a thread that has been posted in a forum that i am watching then i receive posts as people post. Is there something that i need to do to receive posts on foums that i am watching.
    Cheers Alan

I'm not sure why, what happens if you subscribe to a new thread?

John im not at all sure that i fully understand how it works. Let me try to ecplain. The forums that i am interested in i have clicked on 'watch forum'. So does this mean that each time someone posts something on that forum i will be notified.
Further then, what is the difference now between 'watch thread'
      Cheers John

I've just got the email for this reply, but I've just noticed it's the forums you are having problems with, watch forum should watch all posts in that forum, watch thread is just for one thread, like this one, I will subscribe to a forum see if I get updates

I've watched a forum and it seems to work fine, you have a few options when you want a forum, threads or posts, threads will only alert you when someone starts a new thread, posts you get an alert when ever anyone makes a post in any thread, you can also have the alerts emailed or just show under the alerts top right

Not wanting to be a "pile onner" I have noticed with new (old) format that I can't look at pics without signing on, does that mean that 'visitors' cant view pics cuz they're not members?
and I also get kicked out on "unsafe site" alerts And is there a ten pic limit? wasn't it twenty before?

That's correct, it should have always been the case, bandwidth isn't cheap so it cuts down on costs.

Another question John, it seems no longer possible to "copy" and then "paste" a pic from one thread to another as was possible before. Another bug to be worked out I assume?
Always appreciative of your time and consideration...Jim

I didn't know that was possible before, so it's not something I can fix.
