One trick to solve such problems is to load the main page of the forum and then press ctrl + r in the browser, which forces a reload of the page and ignores your cache. It's often the solution.

Worst case scenario, just empty the browser cache, but ctrl + r usually does the trick!
Thanks again Jens! That seems to have worked.

I go away for a week and you do this to me John.:smiling5:. Like I said in another post though, I'm not finding it too bad at all. Keep up the great work on the forum John, we'd have nothing without your hard work.

One thing I've noticved with the smilies is that typing them as text no longer changes them to pics. What I mean is typing or no longer automatically changes to :smiling3: or :smiling5:.

I just tried to upload a file and got the 'file too large' error message, so reduced the file size, uploaded that one as well, then posted, only to find both versions of the photo had uploaded!

I don't know how you've managed that, I've just tried uploading a large picture and it just said too big, did you delete it before trying it again?

John, I added the reduced one, then posted and both images appeared, so I deleted one.

I can’t get it to do that, it only uploads the small image, maybe it was because they both had the same name

Maybe, but strange I got the error message but it uploaded anyway. I'll try the same again:

Curiouser and curiouser! No upload that time. Tried to post this and got a message that "Files are still being uploaded, are you sure you want to submit this form?"

I’m not sure if it can be done by hours but if you use the Recent Posts that will bring up all the posts for the last month
