Auto update activity/what's new

I'm not sure you can do this with the site or forum platform you're using but on another site i go on their activity page (known as what's new on here) auto updates when new posts are made.

Are you able to do this on here as i find refreshing the whats new tab every time a bit frustrating.

Al, I’m not quite sure what you mean, after you have read a post don’t you just press the what’s new link at the top to take you back to the unread list?

Yes. But on the other forum i open the whats new page and it auto refreshes/updates when new posts are made. Not a whole page refresh but just adds th new post to the top of the list.

It's no biggie John just a thought as i find it useful and easier to see. If you want to see what i mean then the site is LSP. Don't know if you can see it if you aren't logged in though

I think I know what you mean, as far as I know it’s not possible on this software, we used to use the same software as LSP, but loads of people didn’t like it.
