Hi Chaps,
Here`s a tricky one for Ya!!
I`m in a position where good ole BT have nicked my Email address back off me after 10 years or so.therefore i`ve lost a lot of my Data and access to many sites.
I`d like to know if there`s a way that i can get into my profile on here and JUST change out my Email addy,but keeping the password,AND,not having to create a new account,therefore keeping all existing lists/records accumulated here?
Tried several ways last night,but as soon as it spots the old,"now unrecognised" email address it just says..... "Forgotten Password"!!!!!
I hope that makes sense,it`s driving my mad!!
ANY help very much appreciated!!

HI Ian,
Well i thought i`d cracked it!
However,i just tried logging in with my new Email address and it said there was an error with my password.
I changed it all back to my older,out of date info,and for some reason,this time,it let me me straight in!! Most confusing for a ludite like me!

Same here real pain in the arse, changed to iCloud, if you log in to bt web site you can still access your data using your old log in details but only for a limited time.....I managed to filter through what I need and what I really needed then copied it and sent it to my new account assume you could just copy paste to a dongle as well
its not till you have to change you realise how much we rely on the internet and our email accounts...

You`re certainly spot on about how much we rely,(and take for granted!!),our internet stuff........ which also explains how powerful large companies like BT can try and throw their weight around,just to squeeze even more money from paying customers!
I gave up with them to be honest...... I ain`t gonna be bullied by anyone,gone back to using an old G-mail account and am now hassle free:smiling::thumb2:,
............. and "YES THANK YOU" Ian..... sorry for the delay in replying,(Hospital stays,and life in general,prevented my remembering this thread!!),
