One for the admin guys. Having missed a few weeks due to my Broadband change, I'm trying to catch up with what's been happening. Unfortunately I can only look at the last ten pages of threads. Is that just me or a new thing on the forum?

      Its just You Peter! lol
No the New posts page only shows the first ten pages of NEW posts. If you click on, let's say one in chit chat, you should be able to see something like 333 pages......
The sections show what there are of unread posts so its a choice of:
      a) pot of tea/coffee case of beer, start at the beginning and get on with it.
      b) skim the posts in the sections you are interested in.
      c) press the 'mark all posts as read' and start again tomorrow. lol

        So who's this Peter then?

So for me to check posts earlier than 10 pages ago, I have to select every section of the forum in turn and check them individually?

        Errrmmmm....

It's how it has always been. The only thing that has changed, apart from your name Dave, is the speed at which the first ten pages fill up.

Just had a look at the stats for the last 14 days there has been an average of 125 posts PER DAY.
So there are a lot of posts.

Also the 10 pages roll over, if you read a whole page, a whole new page loads onto the list.

I'm sure there used to be a button on the bottom right of the page saying something like 'Earlier posts'. If you clicked on it, you were able to look at pages 11 - 20. Further clicks bought up earlier groups of ten pages.
