Picture problems

Hi john, i wonder if theres a hitch with downloading pictures? Ron mentioned it in his bf 109 balkan camo thread and ive just added some pics to my CAC boomerang thread and they are the same. The problem is that when you click on a thumbnail to enlarge it , it only gets slightly bigger , not as big as it did before. I have uploaded my pics in exactly the same way i always do , so it must be a glitch in the site? cheers tony

Not sure I'm having to make a few changes to some things and have to run some tests which might take a day or two, but I will look in to it

Tony, I've just had a play and loaded up two pictures ready to post on my Crash dio......The original picture shows 640x480 (82.4kB) which is the size I normally use on here, and in preview it is fine.....

However, just for tries, I put one of my latest ones of the Bf109 up on the same post and that shows the same size picture on my computer (640x480) but is showing on the post as only 5.9KB.

I always use the same settings on my camera, i.e. email attatchment size and it has always worked fine. I don't think it's anything I've done this end.

So it seems that something has downsized my pictures on here prior to me submitting the thread.

Any thoughts?

Same result...I tried a new picture taken at the same time as the problem ones...It shows original size of 93.6KB, and stays like that through the downloading process, but as soon as I press the preview tab it shrinks the picture down to the very small 9.1KB.

Perhaps Tony can have a try and see if he gets the same results.....If not, it might be something with my set up perhaps?

But as far as I can tell I'm doing exactly the same as usual when downloading.

Something weird has now happened to pictures in previous posts - they're not there anymore!

Some are stiil visible, such as Romans & others who post them so that they're directly on the page without needing to click on a thumbnail.

It's kinda frustrating as I often look back at WIP threads to see people's progress. Hopefully it can be fixed?

Sorry John, it must have been me coz I've just looked at the threads I'd checked before & now the pics come up, whereas before it was just a ? in a box.
