Please understand guys I'm not blaming the new look site one jot, It's totally down to me I guess....

I just can't find my gallery pictures or anyone elses. I have read other posts about this but I just don't understand all the computer speak!

I am finding it very frustrating and am annoyed with myself for not being able to understand.

I am truly about to throw the towel in and quit.

Please, can somebody, anybody, post on here an A B C IDIOT'S GUIDE (just for me) on how to find these things....Click, click, click, job done!

Please help. These are desperate times.

Hi Ron , I emailed John on saturday asking about the gallery pictures , he told me that he`s got all the pictures saved and is trying to find a way to get them on the new look site,

So your be glad to know its not you.

What happens when you click on the 'Album' tab at the top? Can you see the ones that are already there? If you can, what happens when you click on 'Create New Album'? Does it go to the screen where it says 'add album'? Sorry for the questions but to help to most, it would be handy to know where you are hitting the problems!

Patrick, I can get to 'Add Albums' that's when I find this big wall!

I remember, I think it was you who mentioned in a post that once the loading sequence was started you can loose everthing if you stop! Trouble is, I don't know how to start!

Well when I did it, after I clicked on create new album, a coz appeared showing my old pictures. The box was like the old 'attachments' one. However, if that doesn't work, you can still create an album & upload the pics from your computer. Failing that, maybe John will create one for you & you could e-mail him your pics so he can upload them? Worth a try for an esteemed member of our little band!

Ron it's not just you! I've no idea where my pictures (on the site) went or are. Also I tried to upload a pdf of the Mustang pilot's manual to help out the guys doing the P-51s and failed miserably. I'll give things a while to settle down and then have another go.

As you can see Steve, Patrick kindly gave me an idiot's guide to my problem but I have got so far and given up !!!

Trouble is, its not the new look site, it's superb, but more my computer skills are just enough for basic stuff. I managed the previous gallery with no trouble at all but I am floundering badly with this new one.

A spin off is because of my frustration with myself at not being able to grasp what to most people is straight forward, I am loosing the spark a bit now, and that saddens me.

I have still got all the pictures and I still have no idea how to index them all so they can be easily found, vbulletin is due to release the final version today, once they do then the people that make the gallery should release their updated one hopefully in the not too distant future, when they do I will look at buying if as I don't like the new album system either.

Nice one John,please don't think I was being critical,quite the reverse,still my favourite site. Whatever you do I've got my photos and can always stick them up again,no problem. As for the pdf thing I would strongly suspect operator (me) error!

No I don't think your being critical I would rather know things aren't right and get them working, I've looked at the new gallery they have it on sale at the moment $130 so I might just take the plunge.
