PIC problems

Hi there,

Having problems with people seeing my uploaded pics. They show on the upload but when they are sent they dont show on the forum and people are having problems opening them. Can you help please.

Andy, can't help 'cos I'm having what sounds like the same problem.......I'm trying to sort out my album too, I can drag the pictures into the box, then I press the save and the pending page comes up. I check this and when I press the save changes button it just loops back to the original load pictures opening page!!! It was working fine yesterday.Any thoughts out there so Andy and I can sleep easy tonight?!

Are you ticking the box that on the attachment and pressing insert attachment? just like my screen shots

Thanks for the reply, somehow i managed to upload the first files in a different application instead of using manage attachments, dont ask me how... i havent got a clue what i did. Anyway all done now. Thanks

Thanks for the reply too John, but still no joy, it has to be me AGAIN, doesn't it!!!!!!

This is what I do:

I think I'm O.K. up to here....

Drag photos into the box.

Tick the boxes (do I tick the boxes in the original pictures as well as the ones I drop down?)

Press insert att.

Pending pictures screen appears.

Press 'save changes'

This is where it loops back to the beginning really asking me to upload picture again.

I sailed through the process a couple of days ago, but now it just keeps looping back. Any thoughts? I'm sure it's something very basic and daft I'm doing....as usual!

When you go to manage attachments once you have clicked on the insert attachment you can close the box and all the ticked pictures in the bottom box should be attached

Yes, they are. They appear fine and dandy on the pending pictures page...then I press 'save changes' and this is when it goes back to the 'upload pictures tab' and I have to re-drag the pickies again, with the same result.

Why me? LOL!

I've just bought photopost gallery, as soon as I get the confirmation email with the download link I will install it, it's the same as the last gallery only more options, see if that helps, I should also be able to add back all the old pictures

hi all, just thought i'd let people know ,who might not have noticed, theres now a link where you can donate to the site -to help john with the running and such things as buying the new gallery.Ive already bunged in a fiver, if everyone who appreciates the site just chucked in a little bit ,im sure it would help john in his efforts. I for one am grateful for the time and energy john puts in (its a dead cert i wouldnt know where to start with anything like this) so i consider it a very small price to pay for such a useful resource. cheers tony

Thanks guys everything helps and is very much appreciated.

I've sort of got the gallery working, all the comments, picture info, categories are there, but for some reason the pictures keep deleting them self when I run the final update.
