For what its worth, I'm perfectly happy with the way things are.

Probably best to shelve the idea.

My personal mantra is; If it works don't fix it.

If the button says LIKE, Thanks, or Oh that was a really great idea I will have to try that the next time I run into that problem 'cause I have always had problems with that, is not the point, its how it gets used.

          My straight forward opinion ....

I hardly ever use the thanks button, i prefer to thank people in my next post on my threads.

I dont think i would use any extra utilities on the forum, i personally am happy with the function as it is.

Anything that links to my-face or space-book doesn't interest me as i dont have accounts on the social networking sites.

I'm with Laurie and Ron, please leave it as it is...

As Laurie said, it would get confusing with 2 or more buttons...

No Bob I do not think that is sad we all like to have a pat on the back. If we did not we would not try any more ideas out on the Forum. Like you I think it is very nice.

Like Colin I much prefer to say thanks in person, so to speak, on a return comment as it is more friendly & takes time which is an indication that it is much appreciated.

So easy to bounce the Thanks Button with out much thought.

                Laurie

Also add that it is very much better not to have that almost competition thing of having thanks given to you counted as the forum had until recently.

I think we are happy how things are so I will close this thread and let it slowly drift away.
