Nice layout John, two small points you are maybe working on -

      a) The log in panels are overlapped by the search panel on my machine.

      b) Will you be adding the 'my postings' menu with the final layout.

      Cheers Derek

The new log on screen is very classy looking, but I can't log on from the firefox, my browser of choice, had to use internet explorer.

Sorry John, have managed to log on with firefox, but the cursor has to be placed precisely in one spot on the text boxes and log on button otherwise they can't see the cursor. Just a glitch?

Sometimes safari has problems with javascript.

If you disable javascript and then log in it might work.

alternatively Safari might be running in 32 bit mode. Click Command-I (get info) on the Safari icon. The Info box should open. Un-click "Open in 32 bit mode". That "should" fix the issue. you should be able to log in now with Javascript enabled.

If it doesn't then john might be able to sort something out from his end ... i can't think of anything else it could be without sitting in front of your mac with a fag and a cuppa

John all looks great any chance you could change the font colour of the "welcome, notifications, my profile, settings, logout" top right as it's in white and hardly visible also I know "My Threads" went along time ago but I found it really useful. On another note it's great that everyone, well all most everyone, has added their Mug Shots.

Vaughan, I'm not sure what other colour would look right as it's on a black background

John, I'm still using the 2011 format hadn't even tried the new version so what your saying makes sense so no worries. Will give the latest version a go.

It only seems to affect Firefox on a PC, the Mac version works fine, for a temporary measure you can still choose the old style from the drop down at the bottom, then change back if you want and it will keep you logged in, I'm still working on a fix

I have trouble with both firefox and chrome unless I choose 2011 format, but then the top right corner is sort of meshed in with the google search bar.

Maybe the search bar in top right corner needs to be removed/moved??
