Just seen this for the first time John.

Just read Vaughan's bit and sorry to say John I feel the same. Blues are not a restfull colours being in the cold colour range.

The eyes are drawn to it straight away also it just is eye hurting to look at it for me.

The Christian name bit in the left side bit seem to have disappeared.

Can you switch to the old version ?

if you go to the bottom of the page you'll see a drop down menu for forum skins.

just choose 2011 (think that's right... I'm on my mobile) and it'll be back as it was before.

Colin that link has gone but you can use the fluid version which is full width.

It was there this morning Vaughan, just logged on with the laptop and i've got the new version.

Pity really as the 2011 was simple .... i'm a big fan of "if it works .. leave it alone"

There is nothing stopping people using the old style, I just felt it was time for a change, to make you selection permanent, go to settings at the top then general settings, you will see a drop down for forum skin.

Well I like it and think John has done a great job.

As he has just pointed out you can change the look of the forum in the general settings.

Maybe when John has nowt better to do he can make a few alternative colours.

With the "Fluid" skin, I really like the new look, and no issues now.

I've made the fluid theme default, as I run in quite a high resolution the fixed one looked ok but the fluid shows the pictures off better
