I've done a bit of research and it is only a problem with IE10, I can't find a fix for it at the moment

The best way I found years ago was to ditch IE and use a different browser, I personally use Firefox ( firefox - Download Mozilla Firefox® ), it's fast and very easy to use, I've never (touch wood) had any problems...

          Just a thought...

Yep, no issues whatsoever on Firefox with Win7.

The WYSIWYG editor, the thing that was missing is causing the problem, I never liked IE when I used a PC always used Firefox, and still do on a Mac, much faster and better browser

I probably wont be getting that update anyway as i'm not running IE10 yet ... it's far too buggy.

It's a shame that the leading operating system developers have to compete to get their latest versions out before anyone else. Remember the Windows ME and Windows Vista debarkle? where Microsoft released these OS's with severe bug issues just to keep up with AppleMacs releases!

Well Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have again released a bit of soft ware with outstanding bugs ... this being IE10 ... and will sort out the bugs along the way with critical updates.

If i could (and i've tried believe me) to get the latest flash, java etc running on Windows 98SE with IE4 i would run this indefinitly as it was the most stable combination released

                        I need a Computer / Ron - Ron / computer dictionary!

I've just read this thread, and haven't a clue what's being discussed. Brilliant stuff the way you people are talking in some sort of alien code, yet quietly getting it sorted.

Thanks for visiting planet earth on your travels around the Galaxy.

                        Love Ron

I've just upgraded to the latest version of vbulletin, hopefully it should have fixed the problem, can someone confirm that?

I had that problem when I first signed up here.............

Go to "Settings" / "General settings" on here............Message Editor Interface.

There are three options. Highlight the last one ( Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls )

Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing

Basic Editor - A simple text box

Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls

                              That should sort it.
