Oh gosh he's been playing again...

Yes and I hope you all like it. I would like a bit of feed back though.

I have changed the ordre in which the fora are presented.

Modelling at the top chat at the bottom.

I would like to hear your thoughts on Chit chat not being presented in the recent posts and not "scoring any points".

Answers on a post card to the usual place.

I would agree with chat section not being shown in the 'recent posts'-it should be a members drop in place. Also the points system not be allowed wouldn't bother me per say.

Yeah, place it at the bottom or on a special little section, the SMF bar or something.

I think the chat section should stay as a lot of people use it not just for chat but if they are unsure where to post something

I think we should only have modeling chat in the model sections and if you find something funny to say in the thread either post that by pm or open a new thread in chit chat if you want other to engage in it

I don't mind the chat section being in the recent threads at the top. But maybe the jokes section shouldn't appear?

As for the post count thingy. I'm not swayed either way. I try not to worry about my posting ratio lol

I think all posts should be at the top of the forum if your like me who looks there first then if only have modelling at the top posters who like everything about the forum might miss something , yes this is a modellers forum but many of us are also very social types and like to engage with all aspects of the forum

Must work then, rattles are still in the prams. Good idea, new visitors at least will find the 'chit chat' last. Personally I use the recent threads function, very rarely do I enter the actual sections unless I am looking for something specific or starting a new build thread. I for one won't be losing any sleep over the status of forum 'points'.

So basicly, as long as the recent posts are at the top as normal no real issues to the order of the forum sections then.

My only thought behind moving the modelling sections up and the general chit-chat section down is to give new comers and visitors the visual impression that it is modelling at the top of the pile and the other stuff just follows with.

I'll stop playing now as its doing my head in.

I only use the 'Recent Posts' tab, so I'm not bothered which way round what is!....full stop.

Also, I couldn't care less about personal statistics such as 'Trophy Points' whatever they are? After reading Joe's post, I decided to have a look.....Still haven't a clue and that's how it will no doubt stay!lol
