Search not working properly

I wanted to find a post that I made last summer but the search system went back to only November 2013. I specified everything by me since August 2013. The clips attached show my search entry and the result of the earliest dated result (which at the bottom of the results page went down to only early November 2013):[ATTACH]77422.IPB[/ATTACH]

It will only return a maximum of 200 results, so depends how much you have posted to how far you can go back, this can't really be increased because it will have an affect of the forum performance, you could narrow it down to adding a word in the title or choosing specific forums to search

One way around this is to use Google.

In the search bar type "site:http://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads" and after that your specific search term.

Example, if I wanted to find a post on a Spitfire from 2007 I type: site:http://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads Spitfire 2007

It then lists all threads with the word Spitfire that also either includes the term 2007, or a thread date from 2007.
