Think you are getting better Tony.

If you can get to the Iwata Neo as John has said with an AS186 I think you have a good start with reasonable gear. The cost on replacements for my Iwata is not out of the way.

Also if you decided you wanted to upgrade at a later stage your neo will sell well second hand.

So finally pulled the trigger today and bought this http://www.bartsharp.co.uk/home/product/tc80t-airbrush-compressor-with-royal-130-and-133-airbrush/ with a slight change they agreed to send me 2 x 130's instead of the siphon fed 133 and will swap the needle out on one of them so I have a .5 and a .3, so I wont be buying a neo for the moment will give it a couple of months with these and practice then take a step up

I've owned the same airbrush before under a different name & I'd advise getting some natural beeswax.

The nozzle threads are coated with something similar because the manufacturing isn't up to the standard of Iwata etc. When you clean it, the coating will be lost & if it's not replaced

you'll get air bubbles in the paint cup.

            Cheers
