A,K,Surface Primer ?

has anyone used the AK surface primer,

is there any think i should know before using it if it needs to be thinned or just

straight from the bottle,

and can i use Vallejo thinner if needed,

any help greatly appreciated,

Yep I use a.k primer as my main workhorse. It's great straight out the bottle and really hard to mess up. I do find however it doesn't like being handled much and can lift on edges until a Matt coat is applied. This is my second bottle and won't be the last.

ta Aaron,as my guy is closed and i needed some primer,and BNA was out of the Vallejo black as well,

so why not try some think new,

and I forgot all about BNA sale as well,boo wonted to get some armor kits,maybe there next is Easter ?

Phil Flory did a review of this and liked it. I am sticking to Vallejo myself but might try it at some time.

I get this stuff off mighty ape, my Grey primer is vallejo. Great stuff. Have you signed up for the b.n.a newsletter Monica? Can't beat the Xmas sales but the catch 22 for me is that my four babies and wife come before my hobby at Christmas time. Lucky it goes until new years.

just got it Barry as i need black and Nic is closed,and the online shop was out of the Vallejo,so why not try,

I have hurd of that one as well,what are they like on cost wise,

you know i did see the sale,but at that time no spear cash ,just sent it back home to the other half,

Haha, 40 this year Monica. I may not look it, but I DO feel it.

Both A.k and vallejo primers are pretty much the same price.

I think you are right about easter being the next sale.
