    wants a new airbrush mask

any one know of a decent mask for acrilic spraying.

Barry. This is the one I use.

    Product Family

    Survivair ValueAir Plus (NIOSH)

Place in your search and it will come up in a number of forms. Made by Honeywell.

Very comfortable. The prime reason I chose it was the facility for buying the correct filters for it compatible with painting etc.

Found it does not steam up specs which a lot do.

I got one from John, forum shop-click the link at the top of the screen-got a mask and a spare filter. Excellent quality and good for acrylic and solvent use.

I use these. However if you can get something from John then it will support the site.

I hope the ones I have are suitable although I don't think they are rated for likes of 2k paint but that is specialised and apparently very dangerous

Main thing to watch is if you wear specs. My first mask had the air outlet high on the side and the hot steamy air steamed up my specs.

My present one has the out let on the very front at mouth level and does not cause a problem.

Needed a new mask myself, so have ordered one from John also. Not bad value either.
