    I've gone for it!

After all the good things said about Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes, I've decided to buy one!

Just put the order in with John for an Ultra 2 in 1.

Some may be wondering why this is news, but I've long been a highly vocal advocate of cheap airbrushes. So this marks a turning point

Who knows, maybe it'll be Model Air next! :P

Nice, hopefully you see a good difference and get it set up easy enough. My h&s is so easy to strip and clean. I'm sure this will be too.

Tony I've still got that £6 one that you spotted on eBay years ago!

I'll keep you all advised of how it goes in use.

Fingers crossed Laurie, I doubt it'll make me a better painter overnight, but hopefully in time ....

You're not alone Tony I have 3 cheap as chips Chinese ones, I don't really know how to use the finer points of them so can't see the point in paying for quality when the person using it is a numpty and wouldn't get better results with a solid gold rolls royce of abs any way.

Good job. H&S make excellent airbrushes. If you want to get a second branded AB, try the Iwata Hi Line HP-CH (ans if you have enough cash, the Custom Micron) these Airbrushes are better than the infinity. Before you try Modelair, try Gunze aqueous. Those are incredible paints for airbrushing (yes, they are acrylics, not enamels)

You've definitely got me & Jim confused Moni!

Once I've got it, I'll do a review & you can see if that helps you decide.

The main thing that was annoying me was the inconsistency when using a cheap one.

When they work, they're great, but it's very frustrating when they don't! Mostly I think that's down to the build quality not being as good - especially in the nozzle area.
