    Spray Booth

I don't know if I have placed this in the correct forum, I am looking to purchase a spray booth and I am at a loss as to which one to purchase, my model making workshop is the spare bedroom (upstairs).

I have a limited budget and I need one to cater for 1:48 scale model planes, so if any of you can give me some information as what to purchase I will be very grateful.

Could you not make one yourself Phil? I made mine from scrap bits of MDF & Perspex. A couple of muffin fans provide more than adequate extraction.

Total cost was less than £20

        Hi Phil,

I posted a similar thread a few weeks back.

I got mine from John at the shop, I build 1:48 aircraft and use acrylics, Vallejo model air, Tamils and alclad metals.

If I had more time on my hands I'd definitely build one and still might in the future but the one John supplied is spot on mate.

It packs away neat and pops up easy and quick, extraction if more than adequate.

        John will sort you out.

I built one out of an old extractor fan, flower pot holder, wire mesh, LED strip light and chipboard.

It does not need to be expensive.
