    Spraying Xtracrylix gloss varnish

    Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone had any experience of spraying this stuff? The bottle recommends thinning 10-15% with water but it seems very gloopy still and I'm unsure what PSI to run the compressor at? I'm using a .4 needle.

    Cheers,

Bob, I've used both the gloss and Matt and mixed with water as recommended.
I spray at a little over 20 psi and even though it appears gloopy it sprays fine.
I have found it drys quickly in the airbrush if left for a few minutes so clean it as soon as you finished.
Don't be to liberal with your application especially if using the Matt as it can leave a blue looking bloom to the finish.

Thanks for that. What sort of ratio do you thin to.

I would go for 15% water but a little more shouldnt harm.
