I personally have the Clarke Wiz compressor which i have found a good little starter unit. When i upgrade to a tank one i'll go for the Airmaster Tiger compressor with a 24 ltr tank. Both oil free and from a company i trust.

I've been using my compressor since 2013, with no problems, quiet & reliable
It is marketed by many retailers, under different brands, but - the model number is AS 186 - I've seen it at prices ranging from ยฃ75 to ยฃ105, so shopping around is essential ( I got mine from Amazon eventually! )

Hi Barry
I have the same as Dave. Having the tank means there is less fluctuations in pressure and the motor does not have to run all the time you are airbrushing. Had it a few years now with no problems.

I had a similar one to this quite a few years ago, but mine never had the regulator and I couldnโ€™t adjust the tank pressure. Get one with both these features and youโ€™ll be all set....

The water trap & regulator came fitted to mine, I regularly vary the pressure between 1 & 2 bar ( 15-30psi in old money ), depending on what I am doing
