Harder and Steenbeck vs Iwata

I am looking to purchase a second airbrush. I currently use the H&S Infinity which I believe is their top end model.
Looking at the Iwata range their top end models are typically £100 to £200 more expensive.
Do any of you guys use top end Iwata and if so are they really worth that extra money.
The saying goes 'you get what you pay for ' but there must be a limit! How do H&S compair to Iwata?

When you are talking that kind of money the brushes become much more specialised, so it isn't always just about the brand. Spray patterns can vary from harder lines for detail work to more feathered outputs for blending. Trying one in your hand with your kind of work is probably the only real way to see if more money = an advantage.

As a manufacturer I'd say Iwata is up there with the very best. I spray cars for a living and have no qualms about spending £500+ on one of their sprayguns as (in my opinion) the engineering and longevity is far better than any rival I've tested. Some are still going strong after 15 years of hard use. My clearcoat gun has sprayed hundreds of gallons of lacquer on thousands of cars over the last 10 years and hasn't ever had a full strip down or service!

Having said that, I have the Infinity and I wouldn't dream of spending any more than that on an airbrush unless I'd actually had it in my hand, sprayed with it a few times, and had it rock my world.

I have an Iwata Revolution CR (0.4mm) and it is a lovely airbrush for spraying. Total pain to clean properly but it lays down lovely coats. It is delicate enough to handle my Luftwaffe mottle work but.....

If i had my time (and money) again i would take a bash at the H&S CRplus V2 2 in 1 (0.2mm and 0.4mm). That would be the best of both worlds imho. Everything i'd ever need. Obviously an excellent quality airbrush is only as good as the air supply and operator.
