    H & S Infinity strip down

Having bought a seal kit for my Infinity a while ago, I thought I'd strip it down and pop it in the ultrasonic cleaner, then change all the seals. However, I can't get the Teflon seal under the paint cup out. Can anyone suggest how to remove it?

Be sure to use a rubber mat inside the cleaner, they're not really recomended for airbrushes as they effectively shot blast precision parts but H&S say if you must, use a mat.

If you're replacing that seal anyway just use a pick.

Thanks Karl, the parts are in a plastic basket suspended in the cleaner so should be safe. I struggled to get a pick into the seal, it's quite hard, so wondered if there's a trick to it.

I find cutting tricky o'rings helpful to remove them, but does it really need to come out? I never had mine out.
(Obviously you need to have a replacement to hand.)

Well, it does now it's been stabbed with a pick! There looks to be some hardened paint under it.

It's out. Dug it out with a scalpel blade.
Hard to believe the amount of paint that's the wrong side of the needle seals.
