    question

    Good day good folks ... unbelievably i cannot find any tamiya airbrush thinner in johannesburg . both hobby shops are out of stock .. any ideas on a good alternative??.. currently using a badger airbrush with tamiya acrylics .... thks

    If you can get it Mr Color levelling thinner works superbly.

        yeah .. lucky enough we had it on the telly ...... i died a thousand deaths due to their defending at times ....... great fun to watch if u r a neutral but not so much if u r die hard fan ....... lots of good stuff to enjoy but lots to work on

          +1 for MLT. Works great with Tamiya acylics and lacquers.

            Tamiya thinner is mostly isopropanol, AKA isopropyl alcohol, AKA IPA, AKA windscreen wiper fluid. I use a litre bottle of the latter as thinner for acrylics.

            But you could also just thin them with water.
