    Airbrush, (Fengda) help!

I have acquired a pair of A/B's from Guest. One, the Gaahleri pistol grip A/B I have managed to find and download the manual so I know what and how to clean and lube.
The other, a Fengda FE186 A/B from a package that did include the compressor has no manual. The Fengda web site is good if you want replacement parts but no manuals. (Or I'm being seriously dumb - don't answer that!!!!) :smiling3: Anyone have a link that could post, or a manual they wouldn't mind copying as a .pdf file and emailing me - pretty please!!
It isn't life threateningly important as I've already stripped them both down and re-assembled. (And yes they ARE working now I've put them back together!!)
I like to have them, (manuals), incase I have a brain phart!!!
    Thanks in advance.

I think there are a few videos on YouTube which might help. Just search Fengda airbrush.

John , looked at the link, sadly nothing resembling the model I have. Fortunately, Scratchbuilder aka Mike emailed me a .pdf of what I needed.

To be honest, I have now had the thing apart so many times today, cleaning and testing - I'm very comfortable with its innards now.

Which leads me on to its future usage, it will now be my varnish A/B. tested all three needles and the 0.2mm splatters everything no matter how I set it up, the unmarked needle simply doesn't look 'nice' when spraying. However, the 0.5mm needle nozzle combo gives a really good spread without splatter or anything!!

The bonus for me was the hose that came with it had a quick release connection, so I now have all thee A/B's fitted out with the quick release fitting!! :thumb2:

Thank you all for your replies and help - all gratefully received.

Check the very tip of the 0.2 needle, run the point through your finger and thumb and you may find that the very tip is bent (hard to see with the eye) If it is then lay the needle on a flat surface and with some fine wet n dry paper 400 or finer. Rotate the needle and sand the tip at the same time.

Ahh, I did run my finger over the tip and when I looked at the tip with my magnifying goggles there is a very - very fine kink right at the tip.

Thanks for the - wait for it!!!! 'Tip!!! Oh that was bad!!!! Seriously, thanks Mike, I'll have bash at it tomorrow.
