    Compressor pressure problems

    Hi all,

I have recently purchased a compressor and airbrush set off of the Internet. It was only a cheap set as I've only just started out modelling (a non branded compressor + gravity fed airbrush).

The problem is the compressor will only allow me to adjust the working pressure between 0 - 24psi, although the instructions suggest it should allow regulation between 0 - 43psi.

I have returned the compressor to the supplier who checked it and said it was working fine so I had it back assuming hat I was doing something wrong.

As I'm new to airbrushing I'm not really sure what pressure I will realistically require. I guess the big question is will this compressor be sufficient or should I look to changing it for a more powerful model?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jay

15-20psi should be fine, you shouldn't need to go above that.
