    Model Air and thinning.

    Chaps,

Is it me or does anyone else have to thin MA? When used in my brush (CR 0.3mm) I find it too thick, it tends to splatter. I've upped the pressure but its not happy. I now mix it with a solution of "Winsor & Newton" "Flow Improver" and distilled water. This seems to work a treat, lovely finish too.

Yes,I don't use it much but have had to thin some colours a little in the past. I don't think any manufacturer could make a paint that will work perfectly through everyone's airbrush. People's set ups vary a lot as they all find what works best for them.

    Cheers

Phew, thought it was just me! It doesn't take much thinning, just a dash is enough.

I also find the brush is a little easier to clean when using MA with flow improver/water.
