    Bought my first airbrush

I just bought my first airbrush and compressor after reading a few interested threads.

This is the one I bought. It was preowned, but seems to be in good nick and well looked after.

I think it will do the job for me.

I have just got a AB and am experimenting with it. Nice one Luke, should bring a new life and dimension to your models.

Yeah, I have had very little experience with them, but I thought it would be best to buy one from a good maker, rather than one of those Chinese import things.

From what I have read here, they can fall apart and seals perish on them fairly quickly, which isn't ideal...lol

No, that is true, although I have a cheapo to get me going, I struggle with my hands so will be using the airbrush for highlighting rather than full on complete spraying...at the moment.

I just got the same compressor and a different Iwata model (HP-CS).

Tried yesterday for the first time on some sheet of paper as I never used one before.

I was impressed by precision and ease of use (though some training is still requested for precise works).

After three sheets of curved and lines I moved to the OH-58 model and I was impressed by achieved results. You can see them in my OH-58 build thread

          Enjoy your new AB!

Have a look at this Si. http://www.everythingairbrush.com/acatalog/info_AB_handle.html

This as you will see has a great big handle which may suit your struggle with your hands.

            Laurie

Should have added they are about £4:00

I can't wait to get started with it, hopefully it will be here by the weekend.

I just hope I don't suck at it...

You're going to enjoy it so much once you've got used to using the airbrush. I'd never go back!

BTW, I've found 15/20 PSI perfect for spraying (using Vallejo Air paint thinned with their own thinners)

Is it gravity fed or Siphon fed. I prefer gravity..

                      It's siphon fed John.
