Add five drops of Flow Improver to your rinsing water cup - do it now!
I was struggling with adding Flow Improver, Thinner Medium and Retarder to my paint to achieve a smooth, opaque, flowing consistency - essential for detail work, of course.
Generally that meant I was adding too much of everything, causing the paint to fall apart.
YouTuber Vince Venturella suggests adding five drops of Flow improver to your water pot, so every time you rinse your brush you'll be adding a tiny amount of Flow Improver to your paint.
I've just done this and it works incredibly well. I just rinse my brush, work it through a small blob of paint on my wet palette, and I've got a dense, smooth paint to work with. (Thin if necessary).
I've been working on the white piping on this uniform - so much easier!
