    Desert colours?

I'm looking to do some desert camo on an A-10 the colours that I want to do are

    Light F.S 23617

    Med F.S 30257

    Dark F.S 30118

I have all the Tamiya range as that's what I prefer to paint in and don't plan to buy any other range of colours, so I was thinking that perhaps

    XF55 for the Light

    XF 59 for the Med

XF 52 + XF 51 for the dark?

Would this be close to the F.S colours?

Here's an idea of what I'm trying to achieve

Thanks in advance for any guidance

Tried there, it never has any matching ones in Tamiya, well it seems to miss a lot of the ones I always look for

Looking at the picture, I'd say the light colour is closest to XF-57 Buff, and the other two as you've already said Adrian.

          Cheers

I tried the Buff and I'm not too keen on the outcome, though it may alter slightly once the darkest colour is added I guess, would welcome so feedback and suggestions hopefully without having to respray it

The colours shown are Tamiya XF 57 Buff and XF 59 Desert Yellow.

These are the colours or at least 2 of the conversion to Tamiya I used on the MH-60 XF59 or XF57 for the sand colour XF52 for the earth colour and Valejo which I could not convert 983 for the other brown.

I guess you could use XF-57 Buff, XF-52 Flat Earth and XF-68. That would give a nice three tone desert camo. I dont think it would be to far off what you are after Adrian.

The last three I am currently employing to get a desert camo dpm and it looks good.
