Anyone use Mr Hobby Metal colours?

I've been watching a few of the builds and tutorials on the Flory site and he uses these a lot of the time and so with some large projects on my list I wanted to try them out but I'm wondering if anyone has used them and what do you think if you have?

I use them a lot. They are great, when buffed they provide a very metallic look.

I am doing a NMF on my current build using them.

I normally use Alclad but I understand the Mr Hobby ones are more hard wearing and been able to buff them and create different tones is a real plus.

Interesting. Has anyone got good photos of these metallics?

I've ordered the complete range of them to try out, I'll let you know how I get on.

I also found this link, not convinced with the way he's "test" it and they actually do a proper over coat for it but you have to import it from what I heard, I'll try Alclad's Aqua Gloss on it and see what the results are.

I use them and like them, I find they brush well and buff up nicely.

                Hi Barry,

Any pic before and after buffing?

I don't know if you can see it clearly. The middle part has been polished with soft cloth, the left hand side wasn't polished. I used black metallic as undercoat. Hope it helps.
