Where can I get AST5073D Paint code from?

The above code is the correct paint code for Aston Martin's Quantum Silver paint, I've tried Halfords but they cant mix it, tried a few local car paint places and they cant get me it either, so please anyone have any ideas how to get it? I even emailed Aston, they don't sell it as they expect you to go to the body shop if you need a repair!

    Thanks in advance

Adrian may be worth a troll on the web site for paint specialists.

What type of paint are you after ? IE what type of thinners ?

Failing that, try and find a bodyshop that uses Dupont Cromax. Its water based but should be OK with acrylic clear and they list the formulation on their website.

Well I would take a colour chip and find the nearest lighter match in a rattle can.

A body shop might also be able to help.

Haha, ok I'll go find an Aston Martin in that colour and scrape some paint off it, I'm sure the owner would understand how important my accuracy in modelling is

It turns out that Aston Martin don't even make touch up pencils or anything in their colour.

I won't be buying one of those then, cheap and nasty after market service. Stick to my Holden
