    a little advice on seats

Hi, I am trying to rescue a build from many years ago that I half built and not very well at that. The decals on the unpainted seat backs (I had no knowledge of correct modelling techniques at this point) are falling off and were badly applied. The seats are glued and I need ideas for the best way to finish then off.

Do I just paint them black with a brush? Will airbrushing in that space be possible? or can I apply some sort of a flocking over the whole chair to look like alcantara .

The alcantara look is my preference as I'd like this to be as good a recovery build as possible. I have managed to texture the paint on the dash to look reasonably realistic, I'd like the seats to have a texture too.

I have also ordered some nice sabelt replacement material and photo etched parts to replace the ruined decals there.

    Cheers

If it were me Dougie, I'd brush paint them. May be possible to add a covering, you'll have to experiment with sizing and texture etc prior to committing glue.
