Like Aaron says, prime it, paint it, admire it. Sometimes with bigger pieces I burnish with a fibre glass pen to key the surface.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

glad you like the idea Aaron, just rub your fingers on it first as they tend to pull off the fine coat,

so that the lemon can work, leave them for as long as you like, then when happy with the look, give a good wash,

only been chairman a few weeks, hoping to turn it around , make it a real good club, it was stagnating for a few years under the old leadership as the older members lost a bit of interest. just in the process of sorting a new venue for meetings. we are displaying at the toy and train fair in wallasey at the end of march,if you wish to see what we are about. anyway sorry to divertyour thread, back to the photo etch lol
