long time away from painting figures, advice plz ;-)

Hi all,

I have had a long break from modelling in general and have just set up my new home office after a house move and itching to get started.

I have a stash of things to star but I am beginning with an mdc figures resin nazi zombie bust in 1:6th scale resin. Its all cleaned and ready to prime. I can't decide whether to prime in citadel colours skull white or chaos black, would black be better for this subject?

I am planning to use acrylics and oils but need some advice as to what to mix with oils to take the shine off.

I also plan to do the bust in a very well weathered Ss uniform

Any advice, websites or tips warmley revieved.
