    Paint disaster

Well started a new kit today. And had a paint disaster. had a faulty can one side was brilliant then all of a sudden started coming out uneven and full of runs!!! So Dettol to the rescue have left the shell soaking overnight and hopefully paint should be off by then.

I wish I used something less harsh to strip my first paint disaster. Hopefully the part comes out ok. Did you warm and shake the can well?

        Dettol !!!!!

Why soak it in Dettol, is this a known paint remover? What type and make of paint were you using, was it a rattle can or from an airbrush?

Yes apparently original dettol the brown one removes acrylic paint. I checked this morning and the paint has been removed with no damage to the plastic. It was rattle can acrylic paint. I'm taking the can back today to change it
