Burnt or raw umber pin wash around all panel lines and those rivets.

I am with Scott, Alan. A pin wash will work very fine there

      Nice model

          Cheers guys and gal

This is what I've done this morning, I did have a go last night but my wash wasn't week enough but that worked out better as it gave me a dirty look so I've dry brushed some white on in places and pin washed the rivets on the one side ,

Cheers moni , I've pin washed the rest of it now and just waiting for that to dry and then I'll put it on a base , I think I've got a winter troop to either stick in it or next to it

This is a before and after shot

this was my first and last stab at a camo paint job , I wasn't impressed and thought about re painting it in the base colour of dark yellow and weathering it like normal but I thought no have a crack at a winter camo if it don't work turn it into an abandoned wreck

this is what it looks like now

nice and grubby and it's covered that horrible camo with it just showing through the paint as it would have done

I do have it under good authority that the whitewash was only on the outside, I am however going to do some chipping and fading in there

Nice work there Alan, that pin wash has certainly picked out all that detail, and that winter white wash looks the dogs danglies mate, just like it is supposed to look.

Cheers moni there's not much room in there and I don't want to go knocking stuff off so I've done some scratches and wear and tear
