This page describe an example of a range of what I use and know as Tamya Synthetic Lacquer, in this case TS-14. The solvent is Cellulose Thinners. But this page also describes it as both a lacquer and as an acrylic. This is mysterious. Lacquer and acrylic have, I think, different chemistries.
I have developed at great effort the skill of producing a mirror finish with the lacquer. I hope they haven't changed the product. Anyone know?
