    Gloss Coat

At the moment im using Humbrol Clear gloss on models prior to applying decals and weathering.

What products do you use that are water soluble ( acrylic ). Ive read so much about a floor product but some how think this is a wind up.

    Cheers guys

Alan, Humbrol Clear (gloss) AC7431 is acrylic to my knowledge, you clean brushes, airbrushed etc with water.

unless you are thinking of Gloss Cote AC5501, which is solvent based.

I believe Alclad Aqua Gloss is an acrylic. All I know for certain is I've used it as a gloss coat for decals and prior to enamel washes etc, and it is excellent, dries hard as nails.

using Future Clear floor polish (or its various different names) is certainly not a wind up. I've not used it though as it seems a bit hit and miss from what I've read. Some people swear by it, but I've read of many mishaps. To me, if I've spent many hours (and money) on a project I'm not willing to take the risk to save a few pennies.
