Hi guys i am getting low on my thinners for my oil paints and wondered do any of you guys use a cheaper version with good results , the ak,s migs, are small and expensive and cost even more with postage any advise ?

I inherited some Winsor and Newton 'Sansodor' from my mother several years ago. It seemed to work well and did have a very low odour. I've no idea what it costs because I have never bought anymore, I just reverted to other cheap thinners. I'm making models, not painting Rembrandts

I use plain old artists white spirit for making washes etc and just use the odourless stuff for streaking which requires something a little less hot.Comment
