    Polished aluminium look

Hi, I will shortly be building a Revell 1:48 scale model of the Red Bull Mitchell B25-J. The aircraft is finished in the highly polished alumimium (which must be a lot of work to achieve!) and I wondered if anyone has managed to achieve the 'highly polished' look in metallic paints.

Alclad will give the very best results. Humbrol metalcote is easier and gives pleasing results once buffed.

I agree,Alclad II. For the highly polished finish you need to apply it over a gloss black primer.

      Cheers
