    Colour help

Hi all, this has probably been asked before but I am about to paint some german WW2 figures, the instructions say german field grey so I have looked for this colour and found that some is shown as grey but some is shown as green. Could someone be kind enough to enlighten me as to which is correct. Many thanks in advance.

No pictures unfortunately, but scroll down and you'll find a list of Vallejo colours for just about all the uniforms and bits of kit (canteens, packs etc):

Here is what Field Grey can look like.

The dark colour collar tunics were from earlier in the war. I think the change over period was 1940-1941. So as can be seen, there is no one true field grey. It depended on who made them, where they made them (cloth colour allocation) and when they were made. Cheers

Thanks everyone for your input. I didn't realise there were so many different shades. I am sure I have something in the paint to match one of them.
