    Shiny finish

I’ve got a little racing car project lined up and the finish is going to be gloss red. Since my return to modelling I’ve only done military subjects so need some advice on how best to achieve this please?

all depends on how far you want to go

spray with a decent 'gloss' paint, use a gloss clear over the top

you can go down the road of polishing......loads of vids on youtube.......loads of places sell the gear, just got to be gentle with it

Gloss red racing car, apparently. My guess would be a Ferrari.

like British Racing Green is the colour associated with the Uk, red is the colour for Italy......remember Tarquinis Alfa?....maseratis race in red too

Use a decent gloss red lacquer paint. If you paint it well enough you should have an excellent shine without polishing, but you can polish for a perfect shine..
