      Hey Jim.

"klear" is its old name, what your looking for now is "Pledge multi-surface wax" made by Johnson.

It's an acrylic varnish that is good for modelling too.

When canopies are dipped in it they come up to a brilliant glassy shine.

      Hope this helps.

As it happens I have literally just dipped the canopy parts for my next victim. Here's my five year old bottle of the original Klear. You'll do well to find any of this,a few small, local, hardware stores could possibly still have some.

Not much left! Luckily I've got a couple of bottles stashed away.

        Cheers

        Steve

Hi Jim. You've already got the info. you need about this stuff. Don't get desperate and pay some of the ridiculous prices it's going for on ebay - I saw one at the weekend for £25 plus P&P!

The new multi surface wax does the same job (Although I have seen some comments saying the new stuff is not quite as good, these are few and far between. Most people who have used it haven't noticed any significant difference) and it's only about £4 in your local supermarket.
