    Lacquer Thinner

    Hi all

Just got some Hataka Orange line and have realised I didn't order any Lacquer Thinners?

Whats the best alternative. I have enamel and acrylic thinners with some Mr Levelling thinner arriving tomorrow, will any of these do ?

Hope everyone is safe and well

Personally I find Mr. Levelling even better (I thin my Tammi and Mr. Color paints with it) so I reckon that one will do

    Cheers

thx for the replies everyone the MLT arrived today, I have not used this stuff before but is it true to say that it can be used to thin anything?

i.e Tamiya Acrylics, Vallejo Acrylics and Primers, Ammo etc etc?

            Looking fed to using it.

            All the Best

I may be wrong but I don't think you can thin Valejo/Ammo acylics with it as they are water based. Alcohol based acrylics like Tamiya are fine, and of course laquers like Hataka are also fine.

It’s fantastic stuff for Tamiya and Mr Color, but remember your PPE because it’s a bit smelly....

Should be, but if you can smell it, you need PPE....
