hi everybody well my new air brushes arrived safe and well, super quick delivery hindered only by the bank holiday, my nearest and dearest was delighted for me and was reasonably happy with the cost as by the time I had finished in the garden I would be due a brake (b---h)
well I have tried both this evening and to be quite honest this is what I think right or wrong!!!
both air brushes are well presented and well made heavy than the more affordable ones I have had in the past and both seem to be better made and of a higher quality with a great finish.
both felt good to hold and the control on both was smooth and easy to regulate H&S having a more ergonomic press button that fitted my index finger well.
painting I sprayed the inside of a cockpit with both and two heads from a 1:32nd kit just a single colour not my usual genre first air craft in a decade or 4
Iwata seemed more constant on the larger areas and easier to control but the H&S was better for smaller parts
cleaning was reasonably easy on both, H&S has the upper hand due to the removable cup...
I never changed the needles and went with the standard set up as delivered 16-20psi
early days but I am happy with both my purchases the two brushes perform really well both equally as good as each other... proof will be in the pudding as I use more over the next few weeks and months hopefully the results will speak for themselves
