    Cheap Shaker

    Much better than shaking the beejays out of my wristwatch ...

    £5 eBay acquisition - a second hand jig saw in working condition. Unscrewed the base plate. Unscrewed/removed the blade clamp. Used blade clamp screw to attach common utility clamp to the saw (photo 2); drilled a hole in one of the clamp's plastic jaws to prevent paint container movement (photo 3); and place paint container into clamp and switch on. Perfect ....

    I did a similar thing with a 3D printed screw top container attached to a saw blade. It worked fine until the container shook itself to bits :rolling: !
    This looks like a more robust alternative, but I haven't tried too hard to replace it because it was just so damn NOISY. My cave is in the loft and the noise it affects the whole house.
    I'm going to do it now, though:thumb2:
